Jerry began attending Berean Baptist Church and joined the staff in 2009. He has a degree in Network Administration and has five years of experience in networking, computer repair and desktop support. Jerry and his lovely wife Brooke have three children. He maintains the church and school computer network, and enjoys helping out his brothers and sisters in Christ perform their everyday computer tasks.

Vonda Kay Chapman moved from South Georgia to Fayetteville in 1995 to teach at Berean Baptist Academy. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education from Crown College. Her proficiencies were in math, business, and Bible. One of Vonda's greatest joys is reaching boys and girls for Jesus. She is so glad she gets the opportunity to work at Berean Baptist Church as the Children's Ministry Director. Vonda is also the Elementary School Principal at BBA. Her love for the Lord and children along with many years of teaching experience has prepared her well for her new position.

Keith began attending Berean in 2008 and joined the staff in 2009. Keith and his wife, Velvet, have one daughter. He has a Bachelor of Science in Missionary Aviation from Bob Jones University. He enjoys working on the BBC staff and fixing things to improve the facilities in order to present a better environment for reaching lost souls and restoring hurting ones. Keith loves people, especially children, and has a special burden to see them get to know his Savior. |
Mike Joiner - Maintenance Staff
Mike Joiner received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at age twelve while going to a local church's bus ministry. He, his wife Tamie and their two children became members of Berean Baptist Church in 1994. Their son and daughter began attending Berean Baptist Academy in the fall of 1993 and both are graduates of the Academy. Mike spent 26 years working with R&W Pizza Hut Corp.; sixteen of that as District Supervisor. Desiring a change, he spent several years as a construction foreman and started his own business, MSJ Home Improvement and Maintenance. Mike is very happy to now be a member of the Berean Baptist Church staff helping to improve and maintain our church and academy. Mike has or is serving in various ministries over the years to include deacon ministry, church choir, senior high youth group leader, junior high youth leader, junior varsity and varsity men’s soccer coach, ladies’ soccer coach, and assistant baseball coach.

Paul Odom - Maintenance Staff
Paul Odom grew up in a Christian home in Tennessee. His parents were both Christian school teachers. Paul came to know the Lord on November 30, 1997. He attended Trinity Baptist College where he earned a degree in Youth Ministries. He met his wife, Megan at Trinity. They were married in May of 2008; they have one son. Paul is currently working to complete his degree in secondary education with a focus on history.

Allie was born here in Fayetteville in 1992. She began attending Berean Baptist Academy in kindergarten and graduated from the Academy in 2010. Allie received assurance of her salvation in the fifth grade. She loves to volunteer in the nursery. Currently, she is working in the Coffee Shop and will soon be pursuing an opportunity in the United States Air Force.

Agnes Turlington - Custodial Staff
Agnes has been a faithful member of Berean since 1984. She started working at the church shortly after she joined. She is responsible for keeping our buildings clean and beautiful, a job in which she takes great pride. Her true joy is not the buildings at Berean but the children she brings to church each week on her bus route. Agnes has been a faithful bus captain for over 20 years. She also serves in the nursery and Hill Toppers ministry.

Andrea Vogt was born and raised in Northern California. She trusted Christ as her Savior about 5 years ago thanks to the diligence of a wonderful friend. She has been attending Berean ever since that day in November when the Holy Spirit took hold of her. Andrea likes to spend her spare time with her two daughters, hiking with her mutt, and spending time with good friends.
